This Thursday evening will be our last meeting of this season. As another fantastic Club year draws to a close, it will be a time to reflect on how things have gone and to think about content for the programme next year as we welcome Wendy Evans as the new Club Programme Secretary for the 2025/26 Season.
We will also hold our Grand Prize Giving to present trophies to the competition winners, members with the highest scores for colour/mono prints and DPIs, as well as the overall winner for the season.
This Thursday is our last DPI competition of the season on the topic of Architecture. Our Judge will be Jonathan Bolgar, who is a member of North West Bristol CC and the RPS Documentary and Digital Groups.
Non-members are welcome to come along. All we ask is that you pay the £2 entrance fee. We meet at St Thomas’ church hall at 7:30pm (see map).
This Thursday is a members evening where members can show their images taken on the photo walk around Trowbridge on 20th March. The images can be DPI, Print or DVI – get creative and show us your interpretation of “Uniquely Trowbridge”.
Images can be sent to Kevin Crosbie or brought along on a memory stick.

It is with much sadness that we learnt of the passing of Terrick Meakin last week. He was the longest serving member of Trowbridge Camera Club.
Terrick was an inspiration and mentor to many. He seemed to know everybody in the photography community and the breadth of his knowledge, especially anything related to mono photography was unsurpassed – he was a firm believer in the value of the printed image.
Often with a twinkle in his eye, his enthusiasm for photography was infectious and he was always more than happy to help everyone at the club with useful advice and encouragement. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
This Thursday we will be having a photowalk – “Trowbridge in Focus”. Postponed from earlier in the season – members will hit the town with the aim to capture a series of images that are “Uniquely Trowbridge”. So bring along your cameras, tripods etc. and let’s hope the weather is kinder this time!

This Thursday we have a members evening entitled “The Whole of Wookey Hole”. Members recently had exclusive out of hours access to Wookey Hole caves and now have an opportunity to show some of the unique images that were taken during the visit.
Please bring along your images on a memory stick or send them to Kevin (chairman@trowbridgecc.co.uk) before Thursday 3pm. Links to remote file store locations or file transfer are fine if they are too big to email.
