Members meeting 13th April: My Journey Through The Landscape and a Lightroom session both by Jeff Barber

This Thursday Jeff Barber presents “My Journey Through The Landscape”, a display and review of images he has taken of the landscape in its many guises and locations both at home and further abroard over more than 50 years. There will be mono, colour and in-between images and Jeff will be happy to discuss them. He’s keen for this not just to be a slide show!

The second half of the evening will be another look at Adobe Lightroom; an overview for those unfamiliar with the product and a look at some of the more recent enhancements. Jeff is also happy to try and answer any questions or help unpick any issues that have been bugging you with Lightroom.

Non-members are welcome to attend our last few meetings of this season as a taster to see what we do at our club. We meet at St Thomas’s Church Hall at 7:30pm.

Meeting 16th February: DPI competition “Working Title”

Our judge for this Thursday’s DPI competition is Mike Hendon LRPS. The “Working Title” can be a song, book, movie, sitcom name represented by the image. This should be an interesting competition and we should have some fun trying to guess the song, book, movie titles etc. Below is an example of what we can expect – this image is entitled Manhattan Skyline, which was an 80’s song by A-ha.

As always non-members are always welcome to come along. We meet at St Thomas’s church hall on at 7:30pm.
