Meeting 29 October: Members Evening – Portrait shoot setup (practical session)

This Thursday we have another Members Evening. A hands-on evening on how to set up background, lighting and camera settings for a portrait shoot. Alistair Richie from Backwell Camera Club will be leading the session.

We will concentrate on setting up backdrops, lights and camera settings, using ourselves as temporary models to ensure everyone knows how to repeat the setup and can get the best camera settings and connect external studio flash for a portrait shoot.

This is all preparation for a model photo shoot next month, so bring along your camera gear, tripods etc. for the practice session.

Entries are due for our first Print competition – Open category

Non-members are welcome to attend and can come along for up to 3 meetings before joining. We do ask that you pay the £2 entrance fee for those 3 evenings. We will be meeting at Southwick Village Hall at 7:30 (see map).
