Meeting 15th October: DPI competition – ‘Open’

This Thursday will be our first DPI competition of the season in our new venue. The subject is ‘Open’ and our judge for the evening will be Jim LeFueve from Yeovil.

Jim says: “My enjoyment of photography is broad and includes almost any subject such as family, landscape, portrait, still life, theatre, events, gardens and our heritage.  The photographer’s art is fascinating; those choices made in representing the world.  So there is a lot of pleasure in viewing the work of others, be they famous names or enthusiastic club members.“

The images below were the highest scoring colour and mono images from our Open DPI competition last season.

Non-members are welcome to attend and can come along for up to 3 meetings before joining. We do ask that you pay the £2 entrance fee for those 3 evenings. We will be meeting at Southwick Village Hall at 7:30 (see map).
